Many years ago when the Lost in Space Television series produced by Irwin Allen finished it's run, many of the props were destroyed...some were put into storage for later use. The Hero robot suit was one of them. The robot was refitted with new control panels and a new paint job for a Saturday Morning kids show "Mystery Island".

I was lucky enough to buy the front panel of the robot.

I had it for a few months before selling it to Dan Monroe of www.theMagneticlock.com

Another club member (Roy) bought the top bubble and provided this information.

The top is made of the plastic that is used on most people's kitchen or bathroom lights. The kind that has prisms on one side and  smooth on the other. It's 7 inches high. 19 5/16 wide. The bottom plate is 1/4 inch thick. The entire bubble rests on the bottom plate via a ring of  acrylic that is glued to the sides. It is 3/4 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick. The side thickness is 1/8 inch and the circumference is 61 inches. The center hole where the neck went in is 3 inches wide. There are  four holes drilled where the bottom plate was attached and four holes where the bubble lifter plate was attached. The ring that was glued to the sides that  allows the entire bubble to rest on the bottom plate is up high enough from the bottom to allow the bottom plate to fit flush with the bottom of the sides.
